Brandon, A friend of mine had the drivers side break last year and he had it welded and it's holding fine. You do have to know what your doing when it's welded. The right hand side is still available, so I would buy a new one. This is where prevention is the best cure. Put on new struts and take the pressure off the bars. My RH Door Torsion Bar broke and I was able to have it welded with lots of support around the break. I haven't been able to test it on the door yet, and I figured I'd ask before I do. Has anyone tried it before? In my case it was a super clean break...but if anyone has tried let me know.
