To answer all some questions. Yes the Tinted ones will block light 
and intended for daytime use. The clear ones however transmit light 
perfectly. They are available in Clear and Smoked. They finish off 
the fascia real nice. Instead of a big gap in the headlight area, 
its alot more flush. Looks alot nicer. Price are 119.99.  Get them 
while there here. These dont last long. heres a link again.
