Hi Jennifer... A good question to ask your co-worker is "what specifically makes the car unsafe?" You might discover that his answer is lacking and will expose his limited knowledge of the car. Usually when someone tries to 'inform' me about my car, I usually just ask specific questions about their statement(s). 9 times out of 10, they usually can't contribue much beyond their original statement. And when that happens, my follow up is usually "so you really don't know then." Of course that's not a good way to make friends and influence people.
