When I looked at this car about 2 weeks ago, the seller mentioned that he had been able to shift it into 1st gear with a little effort, indicating a misadjusted shift linkage. Maybe he replaced or adjusted the part, or else he believes it's not worth mentioning now that it almost works. He's also raised the initial price to $8,000 from $5,000. He mentioned at the time that he wanted to get at least $8k for it, but had forgot to set a reserve. I'm guessing the first auction fell through. I personally don't feel that the car is worth $8,000, but that choice is up to the eventual buyer to make.
