Toby, The Renault tranny in the DeLorean is a R30 type 4141-80. The final drive ratio is 3:44:1. However, you may want to persuade him to look at the Renault 21 Turbo 5-speed box built into a Renault 30 casing with the Renault 30 5th gear for that swap due to the weak input shaft of the DeLorean tranny and that its only good up to 250 hp.
