Another brake bleed is a likely solution. But in addition to what has been said already, it is possible that the hard stop caused the brake pad surfaces to glaze. This reduces the effectiveness of the friction material and can givea "mushy" pedal. Pull the pads out and rub the friction face of them on some coarse sandpaper to fix it. Be careful not to come in contact with any of the dust of course. Also, fresh brake fluid can quickly attack old flexible brake hoses, making them so soft that they bulge under brake fluid pressure ("mushy" pedal again) Hoses can even swell to the point where they restict fluid movement or even block completely, although this is very unlikely in your case. BTW, its so good to find that everyone here says "brakes" instead of "breaks", as lots of folks seem to do other places :) Cheers Steve Abbott
