I had a similar occurance to this one. After I had purchased #17006, I was going for my first Pennsylvania inspection. When I parked, a car pulled up and stopped in front of me. The driver got out and introduced himself as Dr. Ron Klimes of the DeLorean Mid-Atlantic Club. He saw me go by and followed me. Luckily I wasn't going far. When I finally got out of my car he explained he had followed me all the way across town because he wanted to see who else drove a DeLorean in town. It turns out he has an '83 with "dual color" interior, and lives in my neighborhood... no more than a half mile away from me. This is in my parents home town of Sanford, NC... it has a population of about 20,000 people... so I thought it was pretty cool there was another owner in such a small town. Darren Decker has a pretty similar story with how he met Bill Lane, a fellow DeLorean owner in Winston-Salem, NC. It's situations and stories like this that makes it fun to own one of these little cars :-). > > Louie Golden > VIN 5252 Charlotte, NC
