One thing I will say about this car. The $20,000 rule is that it would really depend on how long one has the car as they seem to require a continual flow of money. I purchased one of these with 24,000 miles recently for $8000.00 It looked very nice but had been sitting quite some time. (It was all original) I put about $8000 more in parts and labor into this car replacing the complete fuel system, brakes, exhaust gaskets (along with the exhaust studs and milling the exhaust manifolds), head job, valve adjustment, tires, belts and all hoses, plus some small things like idle motor, and some of the update kits. It seems now to be a very reliable automobile and runs excellent, absolutely everything works. I would drive it anywhere but to be in show condition will probable take about another $4000 so the $20,000 rule seems very realistic. However, if I keep this car for 10 years I'm sure I will have a whole lot more money in this so the rule kind of depends on how long one has had the automobile.
