I've posted a picture of my rear speaker setup at the floowing link. You
can see the old holes on the mounting bracket - I drilled two additional
holes allowing the bracket to be rotated around the lower hole, lifting
the speaker off the wheel arch. These are 5" drivers from memory and the
fit is still tight. Sound quality is still poor, even with the Dynamat
(that's all the silver stuff), though I'm not sure if it's the result of
the speaker not having an enclosure, or the Kenwood head unit. Note how
I've had to mount the ring that would normally be used for the grill,
just to space the cone away from the inside of the trim panel
