Yes, I have tried them...Along with every other suggested substitute in all
the cross-reference lists. In short, none actually work correctly and the
set you have is probably the worst of all! You will end up distorting your
hood and you will eventually crack the composite. My advice is to do exactly
what I did. Bite the bullet and get a set from one of the Delorean guys. I
got mine from John Hervey and I couldn't be happier.
