You should also make sure the advance system is > hooked up correctly and working (vacuum and mechanical). > David Teitelbaum > vin 10757 David and others, since i don't have access to an exhaust analyzer for CIS, can you explain exactly how to infer the CO ratio from the dwell reading? please explain hook-up procedure and operations so that i can see if it makes a difference. what are the proper readings? i am positive that the advance is working correctly. idle system is ok too - the engine stops when you remove the plug from the idle motor. i also have all linkage adjusted correctly and the idle speed switch is confirmed operational.
