If I drive thru standing water, it will splash up and gum up the brushes inside. A fix that will work is electric motor cleaner. Shove the little straw inside the drain hole on the bottom of the casing, and spray away. Just make sure that you wear protective eyewear when doing this. I've been told that this is not a good sign, and that if you have to do this, it's a sign that you'll need to replace the motors soon. It's probably correct, because since having to do this, my engine cools down slower now when the fans turn on. For myself, I know that I'll need to replace the fans, but I'm just curious if anyone knows of any other possible set up to increase the CFM air flow across the radiator. And yes, I already have a 3-layer radiator. -Robert vin 6585 "X"
