Then the primary pressure regulator in the fuel distributor stops the fuel from returning to the tank at a specific bar on one end of the fuel system the accumulator stop it on the beginning and the fuel is then suspended between the two. This is why if all is well you don't have to step on the peddle to start the car and the hot start problem goes away. There are also o ring kit for the primary pressure regulator for hot start.
