I'm running a 40,000 volt coil. Love it. Allows me to move timing 10+
degrees BTC, and widen plug gap to .035". Fires 100% rain or shine no
matter the temperature.

Bosch wires are spiral core, not solid. Recommended for high voltage
applications. If you've still got factory originals should definitely
replace, but could do worse than another Bosch set.

Plugs are another matter. Don't trust Bosch with my coil, so I burn
Delcos. GM was messing with "High Energy Ignition" years before anyone
else. Get the LOWEST resistance available (~6 ohms).

I'd be leery running a high resistance plug on the original coil.
Could pose problems when dewy or humid.
