A very quick rundown is as follows: Sump is DMC unique, Sandwich plate is Renault 30. Block is common to the R30 and Volvo B28F, as is the Crank. Heads, cams, pistons, injection system common to the Volvo version Water pump (specifically the pulley) is Renault, Though Darryl sells a pulley to allow the use of a Volvo pump AC is common to Renault though mounted in a different place making the mounting brackets and idler pulleys unique to DeLorean. Alternator uses Renault mounting hardware. (all to the best of my knowledge!) Martin #1458 #4426 (and speaking of AC idler pulleys if anyone has a set going spare, I need them for its new engine) "David Teitelbaum " wrote: > The most cost effective solution would be to find a used Delorean > engine.
