A front tire will fit in the well where the spare is stored. A rear will not. The alternative is to put the flat rear tire on the engine cover below the louvers and drive REAL SLOW to a place where you can get the tire fixed. It's handy to keep a bungee cord in the glove box just in case this happens. You can use the cord to hold down the louvers. Being a future owner am I to understand that the delorean , if it got a flat and you had a passenger and no luggage rack there would be no room for the flat tire? even where the spare was stored??
