Having spent the last 38 years in the automobile manufacturing business I can assure you that warranty costs are the one thing that eats into profits faster than any other. If something as quick and easy as adding a Teflon additive would reduce engine related warranty costs it would have been applied years ago. Changing oil every 3 to 4,000 miles using good quality motor oil is the cheapest most reliable way to engine durability.
