When I first saw a DeLorean "in the wild", it was 1983... coming down the steep hill towards my house in about a foot of snow. One of my neighbors had purchased his D as his "winter car". His reasoning? It was rear-engine, rear-drive, with a wide, low wheelbase -- perfect for the snow. He also stated that since it was stainless steel, it would not rust from the salt (I guess he never looked underneath!) Anyway, he drove that car for several years just in the winter, and to the best of my knowledge, he never had any problems. -Dave VIN #05927 http://www.forwardlook.net [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
