Finally wired my cold start valve to the full throttle switch (have no Lamda system so the leads were flopping around unused). Actually REDUCED power -- engine must have been swimming in gas. Don't know if my replacement valve is typical or not, but it floods very easily. Will kill the car (at idle) within 2 seconds. Line to the valve is only 1/8" or so (I have formed steel lines) -- every bit of that must be dumped at once. Final verdict: increased fuel flow doesn't appear to be route to more power (on normally aspirated engine). Next experiment: higher voltage coil... Bill Robertson #5939
