Purchased on the net? Just curious, because for the past several weeks I have been toying with the idea of creating a short promotional video on the car to the song "Where the streets have no name" from U2. It would be geared to an audience unfamiliar with the car and its current supporters and organizations in this day in age. Kind of a ballsy and forward "We're gonna change your mind and view of this" sort of thing. It would include video segments and stills from, but not limited to DMCH, PJ Grady, DeLorean Motor Center, D1, Zillas place, Special T Auto, the DML, footage of the car being driven, being starred at when fuelling, interviews with enthusiasts' and every day Joe's perseptions, you get the idea. Hearing about an interactive CD made me think that this could be a great intro for what they are about to learn. However, there is a copy write issue with the music I had in mind. If the disk is given away, can it be done? What are the laws on something like this? I like it because of the long intro, the build up, upbeat tempo, and overall length, but laws just might not make it possible. And on a side note, I lack the equipment currently to handle all this video and editing (editing, now that's time consuming). Would it be a while before we accumulate all the hard info for the disk to begin with? Send all comments and thoughts to the DML or me at mike@xxxxx This could be great! -Mike A.
