I recently purchased the bracket from Houston and was also disappointed that it was not painted. I did buy some textured paint as well as a can of semi-gloss black paint and applied it to the bracket and I think mine came out better than the original! On the subject of radios... What's the best way to mount a CD changer in the little storage area behind the driver's seat (not the shelf)? Just drill the mounting screws through the fiberglass floor (ouch)? Thanks!
