I dont know the pinout, but as a general rule I try to not use the stock harness when installing an aftermarket high-power radio. Your correct, do not use the ground wire for the stock radio. The ground wire needs to be the same gauge as the positive feed. If the radio requiresa direct positive connection to the battery, it is best to ground it theretoo.
