Electric car thread wandered off topic

I have been watching a couple follow-on postings on the electric car
thread come in and it appears that the thread has wandered off topic
since there no longer appears to be direct relationship between the
substance of the postings and the charter of the DML (focusing on the
DeLorean car, man, legacy, etc).
