Walt, You have sharp eyes! All of the pictures used for the design were of my car: an '81. Mimi asked for the '1981' and '1983' on the license plates to represent the first and last years of production. The 'Irish flag' license plate was the artist's contribution. As for the 'dish' - it must have just been the angle of the picture and the artist's interpretation of what he saw.
