Group, If the pulse coil is bad then the RPM relay won't turn on the fuel pump. Also the tack won't work and the ECU won't work. The pulse coil should read about 600+ ohms and can be measured by unpluging the wire that goes into the rear fire wall from the ignition distributor. Read ohms across the two terminals on the wire you unplug. You can see the pulse coil and the reluctor and picture of the connection on the web site under electrical/electrical parts misc. If not, can it be the other way around too? I.e. getting spark, but no signal to the RPM relay? >>
