Braided fuel lines

I'd like to replace my twenty year old butt-ugly fuel hoses. Has anybody used
custom made braided hose? Not that cheap coverup stuff, I mean actual
hose. I've saw some in a sales book I picked up at Eurofest, but before I
drop a line to a place in the UK I'd rather know if anyone has actually done
such a replacement. Any ideas?
