Does anyone have a suggestions at this point? > > Thanks > > Jason > Jason, maybe the cold start circuit is the next place to go. perhaps your thermotime switch (mounted in the driver's side of the waterpump) is broken or shorted out and it causes your cold start valve to fire under any starting condition. you could be starting your engine too richly with the extra fuel going in and flooding the engine out. check the switch itself as well as all the connections to it. i'm not good at electrical stuff but i'm sure if you hook up a voltage meter to it you could tell if it was shorted out or turning on when the engine is hot. Rob Grady once told me that if you take a look at your thermotime switch there is a little brown dot on the side of it. if the dot is flaking apart or cracked or damaged, there is probably damage to the thermotime switch. i don't know how reliable that is, but it's from the guy who would know! good luck, Andy Soma576@xxxx 1982 DeLorean DMC-12 VIN#11596 Fargo, ND 58102 [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
