If you put yourself in his shoes, think how you'd feel? We all have our "calling" in life, and some of us get to give it a go. What if that thing you worked so hard to achieve all turned to crap, and it was all out of your control? What if the reasons for it being crap were nothing to do with the product itself? It'd leave a bad taste in MY mouth. I'd want to have nothing to do with it and distance myself from anything to do with my dream-come-nightmare. But, 20 years on, to realise that out there are thousands of people who love and cherish the item you made, and none of them really give two hoots about the mess that surrounded the failure of your dream, but simply that they still love living that dream. It's THOSE people I'd really like to meet and chat to, and simply to be around. Hopefully this is what John realised last year, and is why he's planning to attend Memphis. Now which bit of my car shall I bring with me for him to sign?..... Martin DOC UK #1458
