What exactly are the numbers on a stock DMC fuel distributor? I have a unit that I suspect is from a Volvo 760 but I can't verify this. My D runs OK but it has always had a slightly high idle (1000rpm) as if there was a vacuum leak. The engine has been checked very carefully and there are no leaks whatsoever. Could an incorrect metering element emulate a vacuum leak? If so, can this be adjusted with shims or possibly a new element? Are metering elements available? Joe, any comment? Thanks, Rustproof #1559
