I have a chirp in my front left wheel. It only happens when I'm turning to the right (almost always when on a curved highway entrance or exit ramp). Don from DMC Garden Grove tells me that this is a warped rotor that is hitting the brake pad every time it comes around. I confirmed this by touching the brake pedal juuust slightly when I heard it next, and it stopped right away. I've also had a "clicking" from the rear wheel. It turned out that I didn't have the little springy paperclip looking thing on the rear brakes. It keeps pressure on the pins so pads don't rattle. Give either of those a shot. -Christian On Thu, 24 Jan 2002 RJRavalli@xxxx wrote: > I've had an annoying "chirping" sound coming from (I think) one of my wheels for awhile now, one of the rear ones I believe. It only develops after driving for awhile but it goes away when I break. Any idea on what this could be? A bearing?
