My car had/has the clock, but I can't say that its really helpfull for telling time. First of all it runs fast about 5 minutes every week, it's hard to adjust properly and is on a 12-hour scheme instead of 24. And not the least problem; when I'm driving the clock is set into the panel too deep, so I can only see the upper halves of the numbers (when I'm lucky). Alls this was reason for me to take out the clock and filling up the hole that remained with a special display for monitoring several functions on the car. SinceI had my accident past november I haven't been able to work on this anymore, but I plan to have a small display showing operation and cycling of both fans plus their reason to come on (AC, engine temp or override) and the status of my alarmsystem. These six functions are just enough to nicely fille the hole with something usefull. When I finally finish it I'll post some pics somewhere... JAN van de Wouw Thinking Different... Using a Mac...
