Shiraz, Can you find the original shop that welded it? Maybe ask the previous owner? I'd bring it back to the original shop and ask why it wasn't welded properly. If it's been welded that many times, they obviously have no idea of how to weld properly. If they are a reputable shop, they should stand behind their work. If not, Bob Miller sells a lot of used parts. Try contacting him. He might have what you need. If not, send me the disfigured part. I know a machinist that's a wizard on the milling machine as well as an incredible weldor. Maybe he can help! ---Dan : "shirazcupala" Subject: Need used manual LH transmission bracket, please! This weekend while fixing a rear CV boot I found a nasty problem. My LH (driver's side) manual transmission bracket is in 3 pieces. It's been welded at least a half-dozen times and is now unusable. Unfortunately none of the vendors have this part. I also checked with a local junkyard that had a DeLorean but they don't have the part either. I'm hoping that someone has a parts car or misc stash with this part who would be willing to sell it to me. The part number (for database lookup) is 106341. Please email me privately if you can help me! shirazcupala (at) attbi.com Thank you! Shiraz ====== DeLorean #2860 Seattle, WA
