There is a general view in the Electrical Manual, Section 3 
Subsection 1,that gives a basic view on how it goes on over the 
battery.
FYI While you are in there, get one of those tin cooking pans,(get 
the one with a somewhat decent depth)that you can pick up at any 
Discount store(about a buck or two) and one of those thin spongy 
things,and set the battery into that, THEN strap down the 
battery,this is to prevent the dreaded carpet/acid 
burning/staining,that can happen if the battery overcharges,the 
spongy thing is to absorbe any fluid leaks from the battery.
