While the engine swap for a 3.0 litre PRV-6 from the Premier/ Monaco is possible, it would seem that the engine electronics used are not without problems of their own. One owner reports that if the engine doesn't start, you have to shake the ignition ECU in the engine compartment to get the motor to start.
