My DeLorean loves to run so much that today when I stopped to get gas and turned the key to shut the car off it decided it would keep running. Not the sputtering, bad gas type of running but a smooth idle as if the key had not been turned. I took the key all the way out and the car just purred like it was still in the ignition. I drove it home and used the clutch and brake to kill the engine. I took the key out and the radiator fans and warning lights were still on as if the car had just died but the key was still in. I went inside to get a flashlight and dig around in the relay compartment to see if there was something I could do. About the time I removed the relay cover (about 5 minutes) the car shut itself down as if the key had just been turned off. I restarted it and turned it off when no problems. Anyone know what my problem may be? Thanks derric
