The Parts to any 20 year car or even a 10 year old car will always have a greater value than the whole car. Example, sell any old junk car to a junk yard and you will get maybe $100 for it. Go back the next day and try and by a door, hood, motor etc. and you will be paying more then $100 for each piece. In almost all circumstances with almost all cars, a restoration will cost you more then the value of the completed project when done. So like you said, you do it for the love of the car not the economics. Mike D.
