I wanted to chime in about the molds for the Delorean's body. The way I understand it is that when JZD came out of his first round of legal battles he made mention of re-starting the company. What to keep in mind here is that the conservative party in Britain (the Torries) is the main reason for the initial collapse of the company. The Delorean project was a pet of the Labour party government which approved the massive loans to DMC in order to create jobs in Belfast. This program was one of the few that was actually turning a profit for the government when the switch took place in '81 from Labour to Conservative. So, the conservative party, wanting to rid itself of any labour party programs (successful or not), basically reneged on the loans to DMC. This forced the whole money scramble, which led to the entrapment of JZD. Thus, back to the mention of restarting the company, when JZD mentioned another attmept, the British gov't took the molds and sold them to a fishing comp!

as weights for fish nets and the are at the bottom of Galloway bay, completely ruined. So this is why there are no new fenders and such. A company in Europe bought and old ferry boat, an in the process of restoring it, they discovered actual pictures of the molds being pushed into the bay off of that boat! I can't find the URL, but those pictures are posted somewhere. Maybe someone else knows it? Anyway, that's the way I think it went.
