First and most important make sure your emergency brake is adjusted and working properly! Next flush and bleed the brake system with DOT 4 Castrol GTLMA brake fluid. If the trouble happens again rebuild or replace the master cylinder and it would be a good idea to also rebuild all of the calipers as the contaminated fluid will probably cause them to leak too! This could be caused by water in the brake fluid and when it gets hot it turns into steam (a compressible gas) and then the pedal falls away. Water in the brake fluid is VERY BAD as it corrodes the insides of your brake system. If it was air then it would be more consistant.
