When at car shows where there is more than one DeLorean present, I usually keep my doors closed because everyone else likes to have their doors, trunk, hood, etc. open. Personally, I think this makes the car look rather awkward. Often times my DeLorean is the only one present with everything closed. I think it is nice to show at least one example of what the car should normally look like. At one large general interest car show, I left my car closed and locked up next to a friend's D that had everything open with his kid watching both cars. When I came back, his kid told me that about 20 people tried the door handles on my car trying to get it open! As with most people, I am disappointed when I come back not to find several fingerprints on the car. The important thing to remember is to always keep the car very clean or a finger rub across the grain will leave a slight scratch from the surface dust. It is always fun to watch the car from a distance like through a restuarant window. When people think the owner isn't around, they loose most of their inhibitions and check the car over like it is forsale at a used car lot. Walt Tampa, FL
