Re: [DML] Delorean one experience with tach

Heh, that would be Ed. I did this same thing earlier this year. I wasn't
able to tell him about half of the problems with my car and he jumped in
with "I'm the only professional in the business. I know what to do to it"
etc.

Do what I did, call Don Steger at DeLorean Motor Center at (714) 554-6794.
It's roughly in the same area as DeLorean One. He and Dan did one heck of
a job on my 81 D. I ran into a couple problems once I got it back (heater
hose was routed wrong and burned through, a fuel injector fell out due to
last minute adjustments when I picked the car up) but no major problems. I
can take some credit for the slight problems. I was really pushing them to
get the car done quickly for me (since it is my daily driver).

I felt very comfortable doing business with Don. He is a factory-trained
DeLorean mechanic and has been doing this for 20 years. He's a real easy
guy to talk to, and most importantly, I trust him.
