This could be caused by the drain tube being plugged up so the water isn't draining. The case fills up and overflows inside. Remove the spare tire and the cover under it and check the drain tube. A quick test would be do you see a puddle of water under the car near the front right wheel when you run the A/C and then park? If the water isn't comming out of the drain it is going to go somewhere! Especially when you make turns! That cold water hittting your foot during cornering is a surprise!
