Others will probably be able to give more complete info then I'm able to when it comes to cleaning the parts of the fuel system. But I can give you this much advice; If you want to test out procedures first, or you just want to try various posibilities for cleaning, or you just plain want to see how things work, head to the junkyard. Before you test any of your own components, try any experiments out on an old Volvo 260, or 760 system first. With the exception of a different engine compartment, you'll swear you're looking at a DeLorean engine! The K-Jetronic system is almost a mirror image. (minus the distributor and the CPR which are usually stripped!). -Robert vin 6585 --- In dmcnews@xxxx, Soma576@xxxx wrote: <SNIP> finally, if i were take each fuel hose out of my engine compartment, what's > the best way of cleaning them, and making sure they are clean?
