Good advice, But unfourtunely,here in the USA,the 1985 Mini car you describe to get the part from is as common as You finding a 1985 Chevy Chevette,in your salvage yards,they are just not found here,The Triumph Tr7 or Tr8,should have the same stalk/comb switch,they are a more common car on both sides of the Ocean.
