I just got a few of those scotch bright pads for the SS panel re- graining, and I must put in my two cents here... Not only did it remove some of the normal scratches that might form near the trunk area, but I also re-grained several other sections of the car, and wow! The panels are sparkling! I love this car for many reasons, and the fact that you can remove scratches easier than I could have ever imagined really takes the cake. I have a hard time understanding how people can criticize the panels as being hard to take care of, especially after my experience. Some of the people that I have spoken to about re-brushing the stainless were a little uneasy about doing it. I just did steady, firm, with the grain strokes. My suggestion would be to do strokes that go the whole length of the particular panel you are working on; don't stop in the middle. I also got the handle for the pads, which must make things easier. I was all ready to go for a weekend spin, but unfortunately I'm part of the New England crowd.... Oh well. Tyler #3472
