Door Switches for Interior Lights

Does anyone know of where, and what model, I can obtain some new 
switches for the interior cabin lights. I don't want to go with the 
stock switches. I would like to go with something such as 
a "proximity" sensor. I know that there is a kit out there by one of 
the members, but I'm looking for something I can do myself. 

Any suggestions?
