Be sure when installing the fuel pump not to rotate it or you WILL kink the pickup hose. It will starve the pump and will be worse as the level of fuel goes down. Install a spring inside the pickup hose to prevent the pump's vacuum from collapsing the hose and preventing kinks. It does not restrict the flow.
