I am not sure if this is possible or not, but I may know the second car you saw. I went to visit a lady in Rome, NY a while back. It seems she won in a lawsuit 5 DeLoreans from her ex-boyfriend. Anyway I was interested in seeing them, so she invited me down. I was amazed at what I saw. Not one of these cars were in very good shape. One was painted Silver metallic (like a bass boat) and had the mods mentioned before i.e. television, radar detectors, etc. The other 4 were all SS, but with mods on the front fascias and were in terrible shape. I looked at a list she had from an appraiser who said they were all worth about 14K each, except the painted one that was worth 10K. I told her I would maybe pay 5 for the painted one. She declined, and off I went. I often wondered if she got rid of them yet or not. Was this one the Silver metallic?
