Robert & List <SNIP>Also has anyone had any experience in push starting one (just in case)? How hard is it to push start?</SNIP> I've had no problems push-starting manual-transmission D's. The voltage and current surges are probably terrible when you push-start any car, but if you must... The trick is as follows: - Put the key in (to unlock the steering ;^) - Car in neutral - Push the car up to speed - Push the clutch in - Put it into first gear (reverse works if you pushed it backwards) - NOW turn the key to the on position (not the start position) - Immediately let out the clutch and depress the gas pedal slightly Most people turn the key on first, but by the time they have the car up to speed, the no-start timer has cut off the fuel pump. You've only got a few seconds from when you turn on the key to when the engine is running. Gary Hull IN2TIME VIN # 5612 www.PNDC.org www.IN2TIME.com
