Dan, If you can get your hands on a copy of auto week February 11,1980, it talks about how Lotus did all the work on the chassie. Colin Spooner, chief Lotus, head of the De lorean project team said in the article, it was the best chassie Lotus had ever built. They also say that it was changed from a Perfect T to a closed V. The change was made to provide additional stability and stiffness under the steel clad plastic body. The same article stated that the Pirelli rubber was gone and was replaced by Goodyear 185 x 60 HR14s on the front and 235 x 60 HR15s on the rear. Also, The HP was by the ARTICLE 153 @ 5,300 RPM.
