Yeah...Virginia is going crazy too. They've been testing gas caps for YEARS. This is what we get for letting the tree huggers take over. I think it would have been fair for them to allow modifications again once they started using these dyno-based tests. There are lobbying groups for this type of thing and I'd certainly like to see that happen. My dad's been an inspector since the emissions tests were created and even he thinks these new tests are a little over the top. Anyone else know about or belong to the lobbying groups? --Rob Hook. P.S. Tip: For DeLorean owners who get their gas cap tested, the DeLorean cap is different than most other caps. The inspector may use the wrong adapter and fail your car. Make him try all the other adapters before you let him fail you.
